Yap, All New CBR250RR lahir berkat kolaborasi enginer jepang dan indonesia seperti yang sudah saya bahas sebelumnya (klik disini). Kehadirannya langsung  menyedot berbagai media dan para pecinta roda dua, soal desain memang menjadi pusat perhatian karena kali ini Honda all out dalam meracik motor 250cc. Desain serta power yang dihasilkan serta berbagai fitur CBR250RR ternyata mendapatkan sentuhan seorang wanita, siapa wanita itu ?.

Kaori Inada, cewek asal jepang yang pertama kali bergabung dengan Honda sejak tahun 2002 ini ternyata juga yang mengembangkan CBR1000RR, sadis tenan ternyata CBR1000RR itu ada sentuhan womennya… begitu juga dengan All New CBR250RR ini ternyata Kaori Inada termasuk salah satu engginer yang terlibat dalam kolaborasi lahirnya CBR250RR. Saya kutip dari rumblerblog.com disitu menyebutkan bahwa Kaori Inada sudah banyak melahirkan motor2  dari motor 50cc hingga 1.300cc. Sedikit cuplikan wawancara tahun 2014 dari rumblerblog :

How long have you been working for Honda?
I joined Honda in 2002 after graduating university. I studied Japanese Literature at Aoyama University. During my studies I did part-time work at a bike dealer to gain knowledge and learn about bike maintenance.

Are there many other women in your kind of working position in Japan?
I have heard that there are no other women at other manufacturers who ride bikes as part of the testing work during development. At Honda R&D, there are 2 or 3 other women working in different areas of expertise.

You have been involved in a lot of projects in Honda. What bikes have you been working on, and what project was your first?
I have worked on many different models from 50cc to 1300cc, always on ergonomics. My first job was working on the CBR1000RR under the guidance of more experienced team members. I am still working on ergonomics on different models.

What is your area of expertise?
As an ergonomics engineer, my job is to take the customer viewpoint and make sure that the bike can be ridden with the right kind of comfort. So my primary focus is on riding position and other types of ergonomic “usability”. This extends to vehicle dimensions, wiring layout, pillion comfort (including riding position), ease of maintenance, environmental performance, luggage load checks, etc.

Ternyata bukan cewek sembarangan bro, Kaori menjabat Assistant Chief Engineer Departement, Technology Development Division Honda R&D Co., Ltd, Motorcycle R&D Center dan tester motor Honda di bawah 1.300 cc. Dan saat diwawancarai oleh motorplus saat acara perilisan CBR250RR mengatakan “saya tidak boleh bilang ke publik tapi motor ini sangat enak di kelasnya dengan mempunya 3 power mode”.
